Liposculpture Using Smartlipo

The laser works first by liquefying the fat cells to create a smooth liquid. When the surgeon suctions this out it will come out smoothly and uniformly rather than pieces of fat cells as is the case with traditional liposuction. Also, the laser coagulates small blood vessels and heats up the deep surface of the skin, thus resulting in less bleeding, less bruising and tighter skin. This results in not only the actual removal of the fat deposit but also an improvement in the skin texture due to the tightening effect of the procedure.

Most patients undergoing SmartLipo™ at our clinic, need only a local anesthetic, whereas conventional liposuction can sometimes require general anesthesia. SmartLipo™ patients are typically back to work within 2-4 days following the procedure.
