Our Practice
The lower lids can often be corrected without making an external incision below the lower lid lashes.
We usually make a small incision on the inside of the eyelid, the fat is then either removed or re-contoured and then, the skin on the outside is tightened and the small wrinkles are removed with the use of a CO2 laser.
Bruising and swelling are minimal as is the post-operative discomfort. You are usually able to resume fairly normal activities within 7 to10 days.
